Grumble, Grumble

tafeanornYesterday was filled with a lot of running around doing little things that took forever -- the bank, post office, making food. I had a long talk with my parents who are living it up in Yuma! Go folks.
I stayed up late to finish this darn story I've been writing. I did finally finish around 11:30. It topped out at 10,400 words and took 4 full weeks. Way too long. But I am pretty happy with it. I'll decide if I'm going to post it once I decide if I'm going to add to it. It wants to be longer, but it was supposed to be a short diversion...
After finishing it, I got really tired, really fast. So tired I didn't want to go to bed. I eventually drug myself to bed and slept poorly. I had strange, anxious dreams, that left me (can you guess?) grumpy and anxious upon awakening.
I played a bit of Mount & Blade to clear my mind. I started a new campaign, the Sword of Damocles Mod with the Undead invasion subMod, theank to suggestion by![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
chromiuml. I'm especially liking the combat tweaks on this one. Cavalry are still deadly, but not invincible. And giving orders to your forces actually matters! I also like that the fight continues after you've been knocked unconscious.
I'm still not feeling great, so I hope that changes before the Ellis game tonight. Can anyone say TPK? Bye for now, off to work.
