Teh Stoopid, It Burnz
Apr. 25th, 2009 10:07 pmIt's been a good day. The SyFy channel started with a marathon of Grendel and Beowulf (the Cristopher Lambert version) but we skillfully avoided those and instead watched Kenneth Branagh's Henry V. But for family cheezy movie night we chose . . . The Scorpion King 2.
ZOMG!!!1!
I don't know where to start. It had everything, bad acting, bad writing, no constent time placement, bad CGI, horrible racial sterotypes . . . I'm sure there was more badness, but my brain is reeling.
We may have here a movie that can contend with In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale.
Why is it so hard to make a decent (not even a good) fantasy movie?
